Antitrust warns 3 tour operators over price rise statements
MOSCOW, Mar 21 (PRIME) -- Russia's Federal Antimonopoly Service has issued warnings to three tour operators for public statements about a price increase, the authority said in a statement on Monday.
The service said that the executives of Multitour, Delfin and Atelika Hotel Group forecast higher prices for the tours in mass media, which might violate the Competition Protection Law.
According to the antitrust, the price growth in the tour sector is often explicable by a high seasonal demand, while no other reasons for the price increase may appear at the start of the new season.
